f you are a resident of the State of California, you are granted specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).
This section explains your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and how you may exercise this right.
What Does “Sale” or “Sharing” Mean?
Under the CCPA, the term “sale” does not necessarily mean an exchange of personal information for money. It may include disclosing, making available, or otherwise communicating personal information to a third party for valuable consideration.
The term “sharing” refers specifically to disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money is exchanged.
This may include, for example:
- Sharing identifiers (such as email addresses or online identifiers) with advertising networks
- Using cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies that enable targeted advertising
- Allowing third parties to collect information about your online activity across different websites or services
Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information at any time.
Once you submit an opt-out request:
- We will stop selling or sharing your personal information as defined under the CCPA
- Your choice will be respected unless you later authorize us to resume such activities
- You will not be discriminated against for exercising this right
How to Exercise Your Right to Opt Out
You may exercise your right to opt out through one or more of the following methods, where available:
- Submitting a request through our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism
- Adjusting your privacy preferences through available privacy settings or controls
- Enabling recognized privacy preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC)
When we receive a valid opt-out request or a recognized opt-out preference signal, it will be applied to the browser or device from which the request is submitted, unless otherwise required by law.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We recognize and honor opt-out preference signals sent through browsers or browser extensions that support the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as required under California law.
If your browser is configured to send a GPC signal:
- It will be treated as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information
- No additional action may be required from you for that browser or device
Please note that the GPC signal applies on a per-browser and per-device basis.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.
We may require proof that the agent has been authorized to act for you, as well as verification of your identity, in accordance with applicable law.
Verification and Processing
Opt-out requests generally do not require identity verification. However, if verification is required to protect against fraud or unauthorized requests, we may request additional information.
We will process opt-out requests within the timeframe required by the CCPA and applicable regulations.
Limitations and Exceptions
Your right to opt out does not apply to:
- Disclosures of personal information to service providers or contractors for business purposes
- Information shared at your explicit direction
- Information exempt from the CCPA under applicable law
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Denying goods or services

- Providing a different level or quality of service
Except where permitted by law, any differences in service must be reasonably related to the value provided by your data.
